Founders and Parents to Ady
Brian and Chrissy Schubert
Brian Schubert and his wife, Chrissy, are the founders of Ady’s Army. Brian and Chrissy established Ady’s Army in 2015 to provide care, resources, and hope for families affected by autism. They felt it was their calling and mission to help these families by turning their own pain into purpose and by giving hope to others because they understand what it feels like to have nowhere to turn. It is their heart and passion to bring hope and support to families who have been through similar experiences with the precious special needs children in all their lives.
Brian was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and a minor in business from the University of Tennessee in 1999. Prior to moving to Birmingham in 2011, Brian owned his own business in Florida. He is currently the owner/operator of a Chick-fil-A in the Birmingham area. Along with his business operations and working diligently for Ady’s Army, Brian is also on the board of Hope Haven Kids. In his spare time, Brian enjoys auto racing, tennis, and working out. He also loves to travel with his wife and kids.
Chrissy was born in Cumming, Georgia. She attended Pensacola State College and has an Associate Degree in Biology. Chrissy works diligently homeschooling two of their three children, Ady and
Camden, along with all the work she does for the Ady’s Army organization. Chrissy enjoys CrossFit, traveling, and serving others through their church. Her biggest passion is giving hope to special needs moms.
Brian and Chrissy currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama, with their three children—Bailey, Camden, and Ady.
